Doll’s Yukata 5 ケンの浴衣２
仕立て屋フンボルトさん、今年最後のお仕立て上がり浴衣です。
紺地に流水とうさぎの模様、帯は麻の葉です。
帯に挟んであるのは、煙草入れです。
Tailor the Humboldt’s last works of yukata for this summer.
Kimono is flowing water stream and bunny pattern in solid navy
and obi is a geometric hemp-leaf pattern.
A small bag hanging from obi is a cigarette case.
こちらは、籠目模様の地に丸。帯は縞です。
煙草入れは、上の紺の浴衣地の色違いの生地で仕立てました。
This kimono has circle print on hexagram pattern.
Obi is a striped pattern.
Cigarette case is made out of the same print fabric but in different color
as the kimono in the top picture.
Chirimen craft: Sitting-child bag ちりめんの座り人形袋
縮緬の座り人形袋を作りました。
まずは顔。
I made another chirimen craft bag, “Sitting child”.
First I worked for the face.
次に胴体を作り
then the body
外底と胴体の間に飾り布をつけ
sewed a decoration fabric on between the body and the outer sole
外底を縫い付け
place and sewed the outer sole on the bottom
内底を貼付けました。
これで内も外も縫い代の見えない綺麗な状態です。
then glue the inner sole on the inside bottom.
In this way, this became seamless both inside and outside.
手と顔と紐をつけて完成です。
Putting hands, face, and strings then completed.
可愛い女の子の座り人形袋です。
Cute and small sitting-girl bag.
It doesn’t look like a sitting-child but is called so 😛
Chirimen craft: Boy with helmet ちりめんのかぶと童子
縮緬細工の琴爪入れ、兜童子を作りました。
予想より遥かに小さくて驚きました。
I made a Japanese crepe cloth craft, a boy with helmet.
It was way smaller than I thought.
袴を袋に仕立てます。
Change his Hakama pattern into a small bag.
完成したものです。
This is a finished work.
兜は和紙で作りました。
小さいのに細かく作り込んであります。
His helmet is made out of a Japanese origami paper.
Despite of its size, it is finely elaborated.
こういう袋になっています。
Hakama bag looks like this.
チャーミーと同じくらいの大きさです。
He is about the same height as Charmy.
チャーミーも兜をかぶりたいらしいです。
Looks like Charmy wants to try his helmet.
Ichimatsu doll custom: Dressing Kimono 市松人形の着物着付け
アキラ君に着物を着付けします。
まず、ちょっと短かった腕を１cmほど伸ばして
肌着を着せました。
Now I’m going to dress Akira kimono I made.
First, I extended his short arms 1cm
then put his underclothes on.
長襦袢、かさね、単衣はこうして重ねておきます。
Place all three, Nagajuban, Kasane, Hitoe, together like this.
アキラ君を上に寝かせ
まずは長襦袢だけを着せます。
Let Akira lay down on kimonos
and dress only Nagajuban first like this.
かさねと着物は一緒に着せます。
それから紐を結びます。
Dress Kasane and Hitoe together
then tie string tapes on back.
完成です。
It’s all done.
お友達のキレ様と再会です。
首が自に動かせるので楽しいです。
Reunion of Akira and his old friend, Kirenenko.
It is fun since Akira can move his head as he likes.

Ichimatsu doll custom: Kasane 市松人形のかさね
アキラ君のかさねです。
長襦袢と着物の間に着ます。
夏物なので薄い涼し気な布にしてみました。
This is Akira’s Kasane.
Put it on between Nagajuban and Kimono.
Since it is for summer, I chose very thin and fine fabric.
背守りは星です。
周辺の紫はチャコペンがにじんでいる色です。
これはすぐに消えるものです。
A semamori, a lucky pattern embroidery is a star.
Purple color around it is an ink spread
of a fabric marking pencil, which will disappear in a day.
Ichimatsu doll custom: Nagajuban 市松人形の長襦袢
長襦袢を縫いました。
袖と半襟はシルクです。
竹を青い墨絵で描いた模様です。
I sewed Akira’s nagajuban (a full-length undergarment worn under a kimono).
Sleeves and haneri (a decorative collar on an under-kimono) are
made out of silk fabric.
Its pattern looks like some bamboo painted with a blue ink.
長襦袢に背守りがいるのか分からなかったのですが
念のため入れてみました。
結び文です。
I was not sure a nagajuban needs semamori (lucky pattern embroideries
on the back of kid’s kimono, which protects a child from bad luck)
but I put it anyway, just in case.
It is a knotted-letter.
Ichimatsu doll custom: underclothes 市松人形の下着
アキラ君の肌着を作りました。
鯉口シャツを参考にしました。
I made Akira’s underclothes.
The shirt was made in reference to the Koiguchi-shirt.
アキラ君、ちょっと全体的なバランスがおかしかったので
足を３cmほど長くつけ直して肌着を着てもらいました。
次は長襦袢です。
Akira, the ichimatsu boy looked somewhat unnatural in
a total balance, so I made his legs 3cm longer
then put new underclothes on him.
I am going to make Nagajuban, special underwear for kimono, next.
