ロシーノで大人気の陶芸家「烏山久斎マロン」です。
自称「ロマン先生」でロマンスグレーの優しい先生です。
Introducing new Roshino character.
Roshino’s most popular potter, “Maron Karasuyama-kyusai”.
Calling himself “Roman-sensei”, he is a cool and kind
gentleman with grey hair.
グレーの七三分けを優雅になびかせ、物腰柔らかく
師である沙家久斎マリン先生に振り回されながら
日々自由な発想から生まれる陶芸に全力で向き合っています！
Gracefully waving his gray hair, Maron-sensei is gentle-mannered
gets cheerfully pushed around by his master Marin Saya-kyusai
yet devoting himself into the pottery!

Bar Maria Prepares for Grand Opening バー・マリアのオープン準備
ロシーノの小春村にやってきたマリアは
新しくオープンするバー・マリアのオーナーです。
「まあこんな感じね！」
マリアは実は、こまやの仕立て屋ジョニーのお兄さんです。
Maria, a newcomer to Koharu village, is the owner of newly opening “Bar Maria”.
“This should do it!”
The truth is that Maria is a brother of Johnny
who works at kimono tailor shop “Komaya”.
「あとは、そうそう！ビールを注文しとかなきゃ」
小春村に初めて出来る大人のお店、
さてどんなお客様が来るのでしょう？
“Oh, I need to order beers!”
Who will show up at Bar Maria?

Children’s Day with Prin and Ponsuke プリンとポンスケの子供の日
今日は端午の節句です。
プリンはポンスケの家に遊びに行き、一緒に紙の兜を作りました。
プリン「いま、どこをおった？？」
ポンスケ「ええと、ここをこっちに…」
Today is Boy’s festival / Children’s Day .
Prin visits Ponsuke’s place and makes paper helmet origami together.
Prin: “Where did you just fold now?”
Ponsuke: “Let me see, here, and this way…”
子供の日の鯉は、屋根より高い所を飛ぶことになっています。
ロシーノの子供たちも、屋根より高い鯉に乗り、お祝いします。
プリンは 「ヤッホー！」 と楽しそうですが、
ポンスケは 「た、たかいー」 と、ちょっと怖いみたいです。
Parents display carp banners/streamer on Children’s/Boy’s day.
Those carps swim in the sky, higher than the roofs.
Kids in Roshino also celebrate this day by riding on a carp swimming higher than the roofs.
“Yooohooo!” Prin looks having a fun but,
“th, this is very high!” Ponsuke is kinda scared.
Amigurumi 1/3 Series 三分の一シリーズのあみぐるみ
私がよく編む体長45cmのあみぐるみの
三分の一の大きさのあみぐるみを作りました。
三分の一シリーズと呼んでいます（体長15cm）。
おなじみのうさぎのヨイ、白猫のシャーロット
クマのポン吉、そして新しい仲間の白いうさぎです。
These amigurumi are one third the size of
45cm/18in. tall amigurumi I made earlier.
I call them “1/3 series”(15cm/6in. tall).

Ponkichi the bear, and new friend white bunny.
サイズの比較写真です。
一番大きいのが45cmのオリジナルサイズ。
三分の一シリーズと、真ん中にいるのが子犬サイズです。
Size comparison.
The biggest one is the original size.
1/3 series, and tiny puppy in the middle.
今回このサイズには中に「骨」を仕込んで
ポーズがとれるようにしてみました。
I put “bones” inside of their bodies
so that they can pose freely.
肉球などの細かい箇所も忠実に再現しました。
同じ毛糸を使っているので色も同じ。
ポン吉だけはオリジナルの色が濃く
写真写りがあまりよろしくないということで
明るい茶色に変更しました。
They have exactly the same details as the original ones, e.g., paws.
I used the same yarn so colors and textures are also same.
However, I used lighter brown for Ponkichi since I was told that
original Ponkichi is too dark to take good pictures.
同じ顔にするのが難しかった〜。
Very difficult to make them look the same!
小さいけど自由自在！
They are tiny but very active!

1/6サイズのミニチュアととても相性がいいみたいです。
My friend sent me these miniatures: Xylophone from Re-ment and
microphone with stand from Epoch Capsule Collection.
They are the perfect size for 1/3 series!
1/6 scale miniatures go well with 1/3 series.

Johnny and Mr. Humboldt’s Setsubun ジョニーとフンボルトさんの節分
節分と言えば、豆まき。
豆で追い払われる役の人は、鬼の面をつけます。ジョニーが鬼の面を作っていますが。
ジョニーの鬼は、普通の鬼とは随分違うようです。
Speaking of Setsubun, people in Roshino enjoy Japanese traditional ritual
called “mamemaki” literally meaning bean scattering to drive away evil spirits.
The one who plays the role of oni (evil spirit) wears an evil mask
and now Johnny is working to make one.
“Are you sure what you are drawing is oni?”
“Of course I am! No simple oni mask satisfies me!”
The one Johnny is making looks totally different from usual one.
そして、ジョニーは出来あがった鬼の面をフンボルトさんにつけてもらいました。
「わしが鬼の面をつけるのか⁈」
「頼んだぜ！旦那…ぶーっ！だ、だんな、こりゃ面白れぇ！」
フンボルトさんたちの種族には、どうもお面は合わないみたいです。
Johnny asked Mr. Humboldt to wear the oni mask he has just completed.
Mr. Humboldt: “Why? Me? Wear this???”
Johnny : “I’m counting on you! Oh, Mr.! M,mmmMr! This is hilarious!”
The species like Mr. Humboldt and Johnny is not suited to the masks, I think.
“Otokonage”~2016~ 男投げ~2016~
「今年も、男投げの季節じゃのう」
ロシーノにある小春村では、この時期に村の豊作を祈って、雪の中に
村の男を投げ飛ばす、という伝統行事があります。
“Otokonage season has come.”
At Koharu Village in Roshino, there is a traditional event
called “Otokonage”, literally meaning “throw the young man”.
It is an old ritual of hurling young man who is carefully selected
from village young men into the snow
praying for a village’s good harvest.
「フンボルトの旦那、みんな来たぜ！」
ジョニーやドンスケ、ポンスケは初めてこの行事に参加します。
“Hey Mr. Humboldt, everyone is here!”
It is the first time for Johnny, Donsuke, and Ponsuke
to join this old ritual.
さて、投げられる男ですが・・・
Well, who is the one to play this honorable role of being tossed way?
「また今年もよろしくのう、百合之介どの」
「なんで毎年わたしなんですか！？」
毎年、なぜか百合之介が投げられてしまうのです。
“I’m counting on you this year too, Yurinosuke.”
“Why on the earth am I the one to do this every year?!”
Every year, somehow Yurinosuke is chosen to be hurled into the cold snow.
「さあ、いくぜー！」
ジョニーはとても楽しそうです。
“Come on, let’s start!”
Johnny is so excited.
「ああーー」
“Woooooooooow!”
そして、今年も投げられてしまう百合之介でした。
ドンスケ兄さんは、心の中で「来年、私が投げられることになったらどうしよう・・・」
と、心配していました。
And then, Yurinosuke has accomplished important mission.
Donsuke was secretly worried that he might be the one next year.
「だいじょうぶ？」
とキリコ。
“Are you okay?”
said Kirico.
「（ほんと、男の子ってお馬鹿さんよね）」
と、キリコは思っているのでした。
“(Boys are always silly and like kids.)”
Kirico thinks that way.
Prin and Daryun’s First Encounter プリンとダリューンの出会い
ある日、ロシーノのある村にダリューン卿がやってきました。
「ここは一体どこなんだ？」
One day, Lord Daryun arrived at a village in Roshino.
“Where am I ? What is this place?”
ともかく、その姿では問題がありますので、これをおはき下さい。
「こうか？」さようです。
Anyway, you couldn’t possibly be naked like that so please wear this.
“Like this?”
Yes, you got it right.
パンツの次は、こちらをお召し下さい。
ペルシアでは、この「シャルワール」というズボンがよく履かれているそうなので。
Okay, please put this on next.
This pants, called “sharwal”, are common in Persia, I heard.
上衣の下着ですが、私もパルス(ペルシア)の下着はよくわからないので、これでご勘弁を。
「うむ」
About your top inner, I am not familiar with those specific Persian(Parthian) clothing history, so please excuse me and just take this.
“Hm”
履物ですが、とりあえずサンダルをどうぞ。
「うむ。ところで、尋ねたいのだが、殿下はいずこにおわす？」
いらっしゃいますよ。

“Hm. By the way, I have a question to ask. Where is His Highness?”

こちらの殿下はプリン王子でございます。
「…かなりお小さい殿下でいらっしゃいますな」

Our Royal Highness is Prince Prin.
“…Pretty small His Highness we have here”
“I’m Prin!”
プリンはアラモード領の領主のご子息なのです。
「ダリューン」

「これ、あげる」
プリンは青い石をダリューンに差し出しました。
Prin is a son of the lord of A La Mode Territory.
“Daryun”
“Yes my lord!”
“Take this”
Prin gave Daryun a blue stone.
「あおい石だから、ダリューンにあげる」
このガラス石は、プリンの父上が領内を散歩して拾い集めているものです。
「ありがたき幸せ」
ダリューンはプリンに忠誠を誓ってくれたようです。
“It’s a blue stone, so I give this to you”
This glass stone is from Prin’s father’s collection which he finds in his territory.
“It’s my humble pleasure”
It seems like Daryun takes an oath of allegiance to Prin.
プリン殿下下賜の石、こちらで紐に通しましょうか。
「うむ」
お似合いですよ。
Shall I put a cord through the blue stone bestowed by His Highness Prince Prin?
“Hm”
It looks good on you very much.
Prin and Mr. Humboldt’s New year’s Holiday プリンとフンボルトさんのお正月
今年のお正月、プリンやフンボルトさんはどんな風に過ごしていたのでしょう。
How did Prin and Mr. Humboldt spend their New Year’s holiday?
プリンは、キリコとポンスケと一緒にすごろくやかるたで遊びました。
Prin played traditional Japanese playing cards and board game
with Ponsuke and Kirico.
さて、フンボルトさんは、ジョニーと花札を。
もちろんフンボルトさんの勝ちでした。
ジョニーは今年も勝負事には勝てない予感が。
Mr. Humboldt enjoyed Japanese traditional
playing cards “Hanafuda” with Johnny.
Of course Mr. Humboldt won.
I’ve got a strange feeling that Johnny won’t will at all
this year, too.
Christmas Morning ~Donsuke & Ponsuke~ クリスマスの朝～ドンスケとポンスケ～
クリスマスの朝、ポンスケが工房にやってくると・・・

「私の名前はシャルバート、坊ちゃん、以後よろしく」

“Wow! Rocking horse!”
“My name is Sharbat, good to see you, young master.”
“Good to see you, too!”
こちらのプレゼントはなんでしょう？
And what are they?
「お兄ちゃん、これなに？」
「それは鞍だよ、シャルバートに乗る時に使うんだ」
「くら！」
“Big brother, what is this?”
“That is a saddle, use it when you ride on Sharbat.”
“Saddle!”
お兄ちゃんのプレゼントは、立派な工具のセットでした。
実は、鞍と工具はドンスケとポンスケのパパとママからのプレゼントだったのです。
Donsuke’s present was a new cool tool set.
Saddle and tool set were from their parents.
「お兄ちゃん、ありがとう！」
「んー、サンタさんだけどね」
ちなみに翌日、お兄ちゃんは寝坊したそうです。
“Thank you very much, big brother!”
“Mmm, thank Santa, you mean.”
By the way, Big brother overslept following day due to hard work.
「ただの鬼じゃあ、つまらねぇからな！」
