Norisuke and Straw Sandals ノリスケとわらじ
今日はノリスケ、井口製材所さんにワラジを買いに来ました。
「うーむ、これじゃ、ちょっと大きいな、ん⁈」
ノリスケ、何か見つけたみたいですね。
Norisuke the amigurumi cat visited the antique shop “Iguchi Seizaisho“
to buy new straw sandals today.
“Hmm, they are all too big, oh wait, over there!?”
It seems like Norisuke found something.
ノリスケにぴったりのサイズのワラジがありました！
ノリスケも嬉しそうです。
Norisuke found a pair of straw sandals, just perfect size for his tiny paws!
He looks very happy now.
Amigurumi White Lop Bunny 白い垂れ耳うさぎのあみぐるみ
垂れ耳うさぎリベンジしました。
今度はちゃんと垂れ耳うさぎに見えるかな。
I retried making amigurumi lop bunny.
This time I think I succeeded.
ほっぺをむっちりさせ、大きく長い耳とバランスが
とれるようにしました。
I made cheeks chubbier so that it looks good with
long big lop ears.
前回作ったのと同様に頭のてっぺんにモサッと
毛の塊をつけました。
目は白いうさぎに多い赤目／ピンク目。
I added some hair bunch on top of head, just like
previous one had.
The bunny has red/pink eyes which white bunnies usually have.
後ろ姿。
顔の凹凸と同じように耳の形もこだわりました。
Back view.
I put so much effort to make the ears shape more real
as much as facial 3D details.
今回は腕だけでなく足にも骨を入れました。
I inserted “bones” to arms and legs.
いろんな種類のうさぎをこの子達を元に
作っていきたいと思っています。
I would like to make more variety of bunnies
referring to these guys.
Amigurumi Maria あみぐるみのマリア
ロシーノの新キャラの紹介です。
New Roshino character.
この見事な金髪の縦ロールのおネエは
なんとジョニーのお兄ちゃんで、名前はマリア（本名は伍作）。
This gorgeous sister with beautiful blonde curls
is Johnny’s brother, “Maria” (his real name is Gosaku).
マリアはロシーノでお洒落なバーを営んでいます。
しっかり者で料理上手、気が強いけど面倒見が良く
さすがのジョニーもマリアには頭が上がらないのです。
これからの活躍を乞うご期待！
Maria runs a stylish bar at Roshino.
Maria is a reliable person and good at cooking
strong-willed but caring person.
Even that Johnny is no match for Maria.

Children’s Day with Prin and Ponsuke プリンとポンスケの子供の日
今日は端午の節句です。
プリンはポンスケの家に遊びに行き、一緒に紙の兜を作りました。
プリン「いま、どこをおった？？」
ポンスケ「ええと、ここをこっちに…」
Today is Boy’s festival / Children’s Day .
Prin visits Ponsuke’s place and makes paper helmet origami together.
Prin: “Where did you just fold now?”
Ponsuke: “Let me see, here, and this way…”
子供の日の鯉は、屋根より高い所を飛ぶことになっています。
ロシーノの子供たちも、屋根より高い鯉に乗り、お祝いします。
プリンは 「ヤッホー！」 と楽しそうですが、
ポンスケは 「た、たかいー」 と、ちょっと怖いみたいです。
Parents display carp banners/streamer on Children’s/Boy’s day.
Those carps swim in the sky, higher than the roofs.
Kids in Roshino also celebrate this day by riding on a carp swimming higher than the roofs.
“Yooohooo!” Prin looks having a fun but,
“th, this is very high!” Ponsuke is kinda scared.
Amigurumi Shrimp Tempura えび天のあみぐるみ
天むすのえび天を長く編んで
普通サイズのえび天にしてみました。
Added extra length to the amigurumi shrimp from tenmusu
to make regular shrimp tempura.
Norisuke and Cherry Blossoms ノリスケのお花見
今日はノリスケ、山の領地の見回りにやってきました。
「今年もきれいに咲いてるな」 ノリスケも領地の桜を毎年楽しみにしています。
Today, Norisuke came to his mountain region territory to patrol around.
“It’s beautifully blossoming this year, too”
Norisuke looks forward to seeing cherry blossoms in his territory every year.
ノリスケの騎乗する鯛のシャーッとその子分たちも
しだれ桜の木にとまり一休みです。
Norisuke’s private fish ride, Shartt and his little followers
park themselves in the weeping cherry tree and take breaks.
Amigurumi Donuts ドーナツのあみぐるみ
最近また編みぐるみドーナツ熱が復活。
昔の編み図を改良していろいろ作ってみました。
The enthusiasm for amigurumi donuts came back.
I revised my donuts pattern and made various kinds.
まずは定番のチョコレート。
チョコレートがかかってたれてるように
縁が不規則になってます。
Basic chocolate frosted.
Making the edge of the chocolate frost uneven
so it looks like handmade-dipped.
次はオレンジのアイシングがけに
カラフルチョコスプレーがかかったもの。
Second, orange cream frosted with rainbow sprinkles.
前回のチョコレートよりもより縁をはっきりと
不規則にしてみました。
チョコスプレーは毛糸で刺繍しましたが
これだとアイシングに埋まってるように見えてしまいますね。
ビーズとかをグルーガンで貼り付けた方がいいかも
（でもそれだとポロポロとれそうなんだよなぁ）。
I made the edge of orange cream more uneven than
the one of chocolate.
Rainbow sprinkles are simple yarn embroidery but they look
like they are “sinking” in the frost.
It maybe better to use beads glue on
(but I think they easily comes off, maybe).
３つ目。
リクエストがあった、花型抹茶クリーム。
春らしく黄色とピンクと白のマーブルチョコをのせた感じで。
Third one made upon request.
Flower shaped matcha cream frosted with spring-like
yellow, pink, white chocolate candies.
まだ改良の余地ありかな？と思いつつ
Thinking they may need some more revisions…
４つ目。
花型いちごチョコレートにマーブルチョコレート。
抹茶と編み方を変えてみました。
花の形にメリハリが出た、はず。
Fourth.
Flower shaped strawberry frost with chocolate candies.
This is the revision of matcha version: the flower shape
is more clear, I think.
ドーナツはバリエーションがたくさんあるので
作るのが楽しいです。
It’s fun to make donuts with various colors and toppings.
1/6 Doll’s Ichimatsu Doll-like Kimono by Johnny the Kimono tailor 仕立て屋ジョニーの市松人形風着物
傾き者ジョニーもたまには古典的な着物を仕立てます。
でもジョニー曰く 「洋物にはねぇ色柄を合わせるのが、傾きの基本だぜ！」
Although Johnny loves eccentric tastes like eye-catching clothes, peculiar
hairstyles, and weird behavior (that’s what Kabukimono is!),
he sometimes work on very traditional and classical kimono.
He says, “trying to find and match the colors and patterns which cannot
be found in western clothing culture is one basic skill of kabuki!”
ジョニーが使った生地は古布で、柔らかな縮緬です。
帯も芯を入れずに柔らかく結びました。
Johnny used old soft chirimen (Japanese crepe cloth) for kimono.
He chose not to use interfacing for obi sash so that he can use its softness
to express more relaxed impression.
