Here is a momoko doll’s lingerie set that I recently made.
Materials: mainly habutae silk (very fine Japanese silk)
which was used for the lining of the kimono.
There are buttons and loops
to fasten the bustier at the back.
The set consists of: bustier, long drawers, and full-length petticoat.
To celebrate new year
I made some festive ornamental tsumami-zaiku hairpins (kanzashi) for dolls.
Fabrics used: mainly habutae-shilk and vintage Japanese crepe clothes (chirimen).
Left: cherry blossoms.
Right: big chrysanthemum.
Both are chrysanthemums.
Each color gives different type of impression.
Left: a chrysanthemum with double-layered petals.
Right: a chrysanthemum with single-layered petal, and a bead in the center.
This is a sakura (cherry blossoms) lined kimono.
The face fabric is a cotton dobby and the lining is a habutae silk.
Accessories such as the obi (belt sash), obi bustle, and obi webbing
all are made out of silk.
I made a kimono hanger, called “ikou”, which is especially for kimono.
