Doll’s Kimono Yukata for Girls 1　momokoさんの浴衣その１

お人形の浴衣を作りました。

浴衣は木綿で作られた夏に着られる着物です。

こちらの浴衣は、夏らしい朝顔の模様です。

Here is a yukata for 1/6 doll momoko.

Yukata, made of cotton and unlined, is worn during the summer season.

This yukata is a morning glory print, which has a real summertime feel.

He is wearing a boater hat, which is suitable for the beginning of summer.

Doll’s Kimono Hitoe for Girls　momokoさんの単衣の着物

momokoさんに単衣の着物を作りました。

半襟はコットンのレースです。

I made hitoe, which is unlined (single layer) kimono

worn during summer, for momoko doll.

Haneri (cloth to protect kimono collar) is cotton lace.

バッグは裏打ちしてある麻のシートを使いました。

I used a hemp sheet for the bag.

Doll’s kimono ~the Heian period 4~　平安装束 -袿姿２-

平安時代の貴族の装束、袿です。

筒袖と袴の上に単衣を二枚重ね、その上に袷の表着を着ています。

This is a court lady’s everyday costume in Heian period, uchiki style.

She is wearing an uchiki (=robe), which is a lined outer kimono, over 2 layers of

hitoe on an undergarment kimono and a divided hakama skirt.

後ろ姿は、このようになっています。

単衣の上に、表着（うわぎ）を着ました。

表地は銀糸を織り込んだ着物地です。

裏地は象牙色の絹です。

Dressing the outer garment over the hitoe kimono.

The face side is a kimono fabric interwoven with silver threads.

The lining is an ivory colored silk.

筒袖と緋袴の上に、単衣の着物を二枚重ねて着せました。

I made two Hitoe (unlined kimono), red one and one with flower patterns

and let her wear them (two-layered) on top of

a white kimono with tight sleeves and red hakama.

Doll’s kimono ~the Heian period 1~　平安装束 -筒袖＆長袴-

お人形の平安時代の衣裳を作っています。

白い筒袖の着物に長い緋袴をはきます。

緋袴の紐の端に縫われている模様は、「立鼓」（りゅうこ）と言います。

I am now working for doll’s costume of the female nobles from Heian period.

The top is a white kimono with tight sleeves and

the bottom is a red long hakama.

The hourglass-shaped decorative stitching at the end of the belt of

red hakama is called, “Ryuko” (standing drum).

This is another version of cleaning style kimono

in different color and print.

麻の葉模様の地に梅が散っている生地です。

日本の吉祥模様の一つです。

Kimono fabric of plum flowers on hemp leaves base pattern.

It is one of auspicious omen motifs.
