酉年なので鳥のあみぐるみ。
シマエナガのあみぐるみを作りました。
It’s a year of Rooster.
It has to be something to do with Rooster, so here it is:
Long-tailed tits, birdie!
右が最初に作ったもの。
左は改良版。
なんだけど、最初のもクビレがはっきりしてて可愛いです。
To the right: I made this one first.
To the left: revised version.
But the first one also looks pretty with clear cute curves.
頭の模様は羊毛フェルトで。
あとは全部毛糸。
Needle felted black and gray head pattern.
Everything else: yarns.
後ろから見るとまるきりおにぎり。
エナガの長いシッポが特徴ですが
デフォルメでこのようにしました。
They look like onigiri rice balls from the back view.
Long-tailed tits have long tail as its name
but it become like this in order to simplify the form.
意図した訳ではないのですが
なんとなく夫婦エナガに見えます。
うさお兄さんがアルバイトで結婚式場の神父さんをやってるみたい。
I didn’t intend but they became like a couple.
It seems like Usao is working as a part-time Father at wedding hall.
白垂れ耳の頭にとまったエナガ。
背景を白以外にすればよかった。

Crochet Tuxedo Cat Slippers Complete Version かぎ編みの鉢割れ猫ルームシューズ完全版
長らく改良を続けていた
かぎ編みの鉢割れ猫ルームシューズが
やっと完全版に辿り着きました。
I finally completed crochet tuxedo cat slippers
I have been trying to improve for a while.
左が完全版、右のグレイがバージョン２（完全手前）です。
鉢割れの切れ込みがグッと深く綺麗になっています。
To the left: complete version, to the right: version 2nd (one before complete version).
As you can see, white facial part is deeper and has clean and smooth edge line.
Crochet Tuxedo Cat Slippers Revised かぎ編みのルームシューズ 鉢割れ猫 改良版
ちょっとずつ改良しています。
色の切り替えの所でどうしても見た目が
ちょっと悪くなってしまっていたので
それを改良しました。
I am still working on the revised version of crochet slippers.
Changing color in crochet is a bit tricky especially if you are working
with lots of increase/decrease stitches on solid body.
猫の特徴である目をつけずに
猫と分かるようにしないといけないので
耳だけが重要な要素になってきます。
何度やってもどこか猫に見えなかったので
猫を飼っている友達にアドバイスをもらったり
猫に見えるか聞いてみたりしました。
Ears are the only and important factor in this project
that will show this is a cat!
I tried and tried but it didn’t look like a cat somehow
so I sought some advice from my friend who owns cats
and also asked some people whether it looks like a cat or not.
耳の形、大きさ、位置、付け方に
細かい注意が必要でした。
こういうのは実際に飼っていつも近くで見ていないと
分からないものなんですね。
おかげでとても可愛くし上がりました^^
あともうちょっと改良して仕上げに向かいます。
I needed to be very precise in the shape, size, position
and the way to attach the ears.
I thought it is difficult to notice
if you are not close to cats in a life.
Thanks to all these slippers got really cute^^
Just a little more revise will be added to complete this project.
