ドレスの裏地をつけていきます。
表地の裏には芯地のキャンバス、裏地は水玉の綿ブロードを選びました。
まずは襟の裏地から。
Adding linings for the Tudor girl’s gown.
I used canvas fabric for the interlining and lining
for polka dot cotton broad.
Start from the collar first.
男の子の方では袖に裏地はつけなかったのですが
女の子のドレスの方にはつけてみました。
I didn’t add the lining for the boy’s sleeves but I tried this time.
袖の正しい付け方がよく分からなかったので自己流で…
袖、羽、ハンギングスリーブの３つを
あらかじめ重ねて置いてボディにつけました。
I really did’t understand the correct way to attach the sleeves
so I did it in my own style…
I first put sleeve, wing, and hanging sleeve together
then sewed them to the dress body.
それから袖とボディの裏地同士を縫い合わせました。
Then I sewed both body and sleeve linings together.
ボタンホールも作りました。
I sewed buttonholes.
