女の子の襞襟を作っていきます。
幅の広いレースを選びました。
Tudor era is famous for ruffs.
I’m going to make one for the girl bunny.
I chose a wide lace.
ずっと作りたかった襞襟。
でもよく作り方が分かりませんでした。
実際に作ってみてやっと納得。
細かい襞を作っていきます。
I’ve always wanted to try making ruffs.
But no matter how many times I read how to, I still wasn’t sure.
Now I understand its structure, practice is a must!
Here, I’m creating tiny cartridge pleats for a ruff.
必要な長さの襞が等間隔にできたらバンドに縫い付けていきます。
これは襟に差し込むタイプです。
After creating cartridge pleats you need, attach ruff to the neck belt.
This type is worn by attach the ruff to the collar.
完成です。
幅の広いレースなので骨組みで形を整えないといけないかと
思いましたが必要ありませんでした。

I was afraid that I need to prepare some bone structure
to hold its shape since I used a wide lace but I didn’t.
後ろから。
後ろにリボンをつけたので後でドレスに穴を開けて
ハトメをつけ、リボンを通して固定します。

I attached string ribbons so that the ruff will be tied into the gown
collar through the eyelet hole.
リボンでドレスの襟に固定されました。
Now the ruff is fastened with ties.
