Amigurumi Horse Challenge 馬のあみぐるみ試してみた

FBで紹介されてた無料の馬の編み図を
発見しまして
こんな凄い編み図が無料なんて凄いな、と
感心しつつコメント欄を
見てみたところ
「これは編み図ではない」
「編んでみたけど添付されてる写真の馬にならない」
などなど
不穏なコメントが多数で
私も試しに作ってみようと思いました。
I found a free amigurumi horse pattern
on FB on the other day and
I was quite surprised that such a complex
crochet pattern could be free!? wow!
Then I saw so many comments saying
“This isn’t a crochet pattern!”
“I tried but I ended up with different horse
from the pictures that you attached.”
e.t.c.
So I decided to try this free pattern, too.

編み図にはこの馬の写真が添えられていました。
本当にこの馬が作れるのかな？
編み図をざっと見た感じすぐに
「絶対違う」と確信しました。
お尻のところは中長編みがされてるのに
編み図にはこま編みしかなかったからです。
This picture was attached to the pattern.
Is this true?
I immediately figured out it isn’t the pattern
for this horse
because I see there are half double crochet
around the hip but I see only single crochet
in this pattern.

ブルースカイのアカウントで
この編み図を編んでいる様子をずっと
書き綴りました。
詳しい流れはそちらを読んで頂くとして
編んでいってここは違うんじゃないかという
箇所は自分なりの解釈と訂正を入れ
最終的に出来上がったのがこちらの馬です。
サンプル写真とはっきり違うのは
頭部とボディが別々になっていたところです。
細かいところでも増やし目の位置が
明らかにおかしかったり
見たことのない略語が出てきたりしました。
どうやら元はロシア語で書かれた
編み図のようです。

I added lots of interpretations and corrections
where I thought it’s necessary
then it gave me this horse.
The clearest difference from the sample photo is:
it wasn’t seamless:
you need to saw the head part to the body.
Other than that, I found there are so many
“No, you can’t have increase/decrease here!”
I also found mysterious terminologies
that I have never seen.
I think the original pattern is written in Russian.

一番難しかったのは
書かれてる段の編み目の数が実際と違う、とか
例えば前の段は合計の目数が10目だったのに
次の段は12目に編むことになってる！とか
とにかく辻褄が合わないことがとても多かったことです。
この辺、どう説明したら分かりやすいか難しいのですが…
The most confusing part was that
the total number of stitches are not equal to
what it says in the pattern, or
for example, the previous row was
10 stitches total but on next row
you crochet on 12 stitches.
Anyway, I encountered these things
which didn’t make any sense so often.
It is very difficult to explain though…

問題も多く何度も諦めかけましたが
編み方が斬新な部分もあり
とても良い経験になりました。
